| 9th October 2008 Strike Tkd Kup Grading and Seminar |

Congratulations to Strike TKD students who recently passed the Kup promotion test held at Oakbank Recreation Centre. Following the grading more students attended to take part in the training seminar led by Grandmaster Vohra 8th Dan. Thank you to Master Vohra for visiting Strike TKD Club and congratulations to the students who passed their grading. | 28th September 2008 Liverpool Capital of Culture 1-2-1 Open Taekwondo Championships Sport & Poomsae |

8 students from Strike Taekwondo club recently took part in the UKTDC's Open Championships in Liverpool. For many, it was their first competition experience. The event was held in good spirit by all that attended, with over 15 teams taking part. Strike Taekwondo won the team trophy for 3rd place overall which was a proud achievement for the club and their most successful competition to date.  Dominic Williamson, Lisa Winteridge, Sam Williamson Results as follows: - 1st Place Kyorugi (sparring): Ben Williamson, Charlotte Turner, Dominic Williamson, Natalie McSharry, Leah Moorby Runner-up Kyorugi (sparring): Ben Mitchell, Sam Williamson Poomsae: Leah Moorby had 2 matches, winning second time around; Charlotte Turner narrowly missed out on a place in the final; Lisa Winteridge went through to the final and gained 2nd place. |

| 31st August 2008 Grandmaster Vohra - Training Seminar |

Strike Taekwondo students travelled down to Nottingham to take part in a mixed martial arts seminar instructed by Grandmaster Vohra 8th Dan. Students have been welcomed by Master Vohra to train at his academy in Nottingham on various occasions lately and have reaped the benefits increasing their skills and learning. Students from various clubs trained alongside each other covering self-defense, kick/jump kick techniques, 1 step sparring, poomsae and agility work. |

Strike TKD also welcomed students from Dal-Seong Taekwondo. The seminar consisted of basic techniques, kick work and explosive strength for jump/kick work. Thanks to Grand Master Vohra for coming to Bradford to conduct the seminar and grading. |

 Congratulations
to Strike TKD students who recently passed the Dan promotion test held in
Nottingham, conducted by Grandmaster Vohra 8th Dan. The
following
students passed their grading after a 6 hour examination and will
receive Kukkiwon (world recognised) certification in due course;

The seminar was well attended by members of Strike Taekwondo who all enjoyed the learning experience. |

| 3rd February 2008 Grandmaster Vohra - Training Seminar |
 Grandmaster Vohra 8th Dan; the U.K.'s first class and highest ranked Kukkiwon Instructor, training with students from Strike Taekwondo and other attendants at his Grandmaster Vohra's Academy International School of Martial Arts United Kingdom Headquarters in Nottingham. The seminar was on Sunday 3rd February 2008 morning and afternoon 11.00am to 1.00pm training, break, then training 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Special thanks to Grand Master Vohra from all Strike Taekwondo students who attended and had a thoroughly enjoyable day. We all learnt alot from the Seminar and took away a few aches and pains for the following few days!  |

| 4th November 2007 Scorpion Taekwondo 1-1 Fight Day |
 Students from Strike Taekwondo Club recently took part in the 1-1 Fight Day held in Knottingley. Well done to Hannah and Charlie Hiscock, Leah Moorby and Charlotte Turner who all took part. Leah gained 1st place in her first ever competition. Everyone enjoyed the day and we hope more students will take part in further competitions in the future. |

| 15th September 2007 Technical Seminar with Grand Master Park Soo-Nam, 9th Dan. |
Grandmaster Park Soo-Nam 9th Dan, Master Ian Lennox 7th Dan and Master Neil Guest 6th Dan, were 3 of the instructors for the BTCB technical seminar in Glasgow prior to the Dan grading the following day. The event was attended by Charlotte Turner and Lisa Winteridge along with hundreds of students from clubs throughout the country. The day focused on the technical aspects of Taekwondo in preparation for the Dan grading the next day. Lisa Winteridge went on to achieve her 3rd Dan Black Belt. |

| 12th August 2007 Chungdokwan 1-1 Fight Day |
Well done to Aaron Berry and Jess Lesniak who competed in their 1st WTF Sparring Competition at Ferryhill, County Durham, and gained winner and runner-up positions respectively. |

| 24th June 2007 Competition Sparring Seminar with Master Glen Warne 4th Dan |
 Thanks to Dal-Seong Taekwondo for hosting the seminar with Master Glen Warne of Saber Taekwondo. Students from Strike gained further knowledge & skills required for competition sparring. We hope to have Master Warne run a seminar for us in Oakworth before the end of this year. |

Grandmaster Park Soo Nam

| 21st May 2006 Training Seminar with Master Mike MacKenzie |
Master Mike McKenzie 6th dan of Quest Taekwondo, led a 3 hour Sport Taekwondo Seminar for students wanting to improve their competition skills. The seminar was held at Nab Wood Sports Centre in Cottingley and was attended by several Strike Taekwondo students. |

Three
Strike Taekwondo students participated in the competition held in
Baildon, West Yorkshire. Edward Houldsworth, James Boswell and
Gareth Youens all took part in the event and represented Strike
extremely well with three very closely fought matches. We look
forward to more students attending the next
event.

| July 2005 Training Seminar with Master John Webster |
 Twenty
students took part in the 5 hour Training Seminar in July. Master John
Webster brought along some of his elite Taekwondo squad to train
alongside STRIKE Taekwondo and develop the students skills.The
seminar involved warm-up and stretch, pad drills, sparring drills, free
sparring, patterns and self-defence. The day was very successful and we
look forward to arranging another session in the near future. |
