STRIKE Taekwondo club, based in Strike Taekwondo was established by Lisa Winteridge 3rd Dan Black Belt. The club has seen students progress upto Black Belt standard and has members ranging from 6 years old upwards. Strike Taekwondo welcomes anyone who would like to try martial arts. Experienced instructors, both female and male, are on hand to offer expert tuition, advice and support from your very first lesson onwards.
Classes
run three
times a week and are held in Oakworth, near Keighley on Mondays and Thursdays, and on Saturdays in
Wilsden, Bradford
Separate children's only classes are
available.
Strike Taekwondo is
affiliated with the U.T.F. (Universal Taekwondo Federation), which is a
member group of the B.T.C.B. (British Taekwondo Control Board). All
instructors are registered with the British Taekwondo Council and are
CRB checked.
Taekwondo became an official Olympic Sport at the Sydney 2000 Games.
